Attorney Bio
Ryan Winters is a Cleveland area attorney who is passionate about protecting Ohio workers’ civil rights. His legal experience includes work for the City of Cleveland in defense of a multimillion dollar class action lawsuit. He is licensed to practice in Ohio and the Northern District of Ohio Federal District Court. He is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Ryan graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College. He received merit scholarships to attend both the University of California, Riverside, where he was awarded a Masters degree in English, and the University of Iowa Law School, where he earned his J.D. Ryan's work experience as an undergraduate and after college gave him firsthand experience of the control employers can exert over employees in real workplace situations.
While not originally from the area, Ryan was drawn to Cleveland by his fiancée, Christine, an Ohio native and fellow Iowa law school graduate. Ryan enjoys visiting various Cleveland Metroparks with his black lab, Keats, attending Indians games at Progressive Field, and exploring Cleveland’s vibrant food scene.
